Maxes out at an RTX 4070

Lenovo’s Legion 7i is a stunning-looking laptop (assuming you get the Glacier White version). It is unusually powerful with an Intel i9-14900HX processor and has full-wattage RTX 4070 graphics.

This is a a decent laptop for someone looking for a portable gaming machine, as well as someone looking for a high-performance machine for software development or even video editing. You'll enjoy the upgradeable memory. However, we feel most people will prefer the Asus Zephyrus G16 with an AMD Ryzen 9 Zen 5 processor. It avoids the main cons of this laptop, which is that it is a very warm feeling laptop. This shouldn't surprise anyone, as Intel's highest-end CPU is crammed inside this thin portable chassis. Also since the Intel 14th gen HX processor isn't power efficient, it isn't able to be properly cooled in this chassis, so it can't be fed as much power as it needs, and it doesn't run at it's max
